Alter Eco Review & Giveaway

Read this mission statement: We believe that Fair Trade is a viable and successful alternative to conventional commerce. This business model will gradually close the gap between rich and poor, so-called developing countries and industrialized countries.

That, my friends, is the vision of Alter Eco. This company is truly ahead of it's time by trailblazing the philosophy that the livelihood of small farmers are inextricably connected to sustainable farming methods and development. From Ghanaian chocolate, Ethiopian coffee to Bolivian quinoa, Thai dark red jasmine rice and many more foods; Alter Eco is obtaining their products from tiny organic farms and co-ops around the world.

All foods sold by Alter Eco are grown using sustainable methods. Organic fertilizers save money, are better for the earth and protect the consumer from dangerous toxins. Alter Eco prides itself for selling foods that are rich in nutrients and hardy in taste. I was luck enough to be able to try a very small portion of their dark chocolate and it was truly sinful how decadent it was. I also received a bottle of their fine quality olive oil. The light, pure flavor of the oil gives the food cooked in it a wonderful quality.

Alter Eco has graciously enough to offered one lucky reader the chance to try their certified organic olive oil. Head over to Alter Eco's site and browse their selection of products. Return here and comment on the product(s) you would like to try.
