Protect-A-Bed Mattress Protectors Review & Giveaway
I'm fortunate the Hubster is a clean freak. Seriously, he puts me to shame sometimes with the way he's meticulous about making sure everything is spotless. Despite, both of our efforts to keep things sanitized and dust free, the allergies alway seem to prevail.
About a month ago, the Hubster called excited about a new idea that he thought up.
"It's the bed!" He said excitedly over the phone.
"The bed???" I repeated back to him abit confused.
"Yes! I'm sure of it! The beds are causing you and the kids to always be sick. Haven't you noticed that you seem worse when you're on the bed? What we need are mattress protectors."
I wasn't convinced of his light-bulb moment, however he did have a point about how we seemed more sick on the beds.
When the opportunity arose for me to review Protect-A-Bed mattress protectors this was the chance I was looking for to challenge the Hubster's theory.
It didn't take long for me to see that he was onto something. Like many people, I didn't realize that mattresses are one of the largest sources of allergens in the home. Over time, mattresses collect and absorb dust mites, bacteria, bodily fluids, skin cells, etc. In fact, it’s estimated that more than 2 million dust mites live in unprotected mattresses, and many people are allergic to their feces, which is left behind within mattresses and pillows.

The plush mattress cover sounds great! Hope I win because we have several reasons we could use this:
1. Allergy suffering husband and son
2. Son who wets bed
3. Baby who nurses in bed sometimes and sometimes has leaky diapers
4. Mommy who sometimes has "lactation" accidents
We wear out our mattress protectors so quick, and haven't found one that really, really works for us well.
