So Much To Be Thankful For!
What a great Thanksgiving Day extended weekend we had! We ate, then ate again and then ate some more! I think if I were a bear I could go into full fledged hibernation and come back next spring with no problems. lol We spent a quiet day at home as a family thoroughly enjoying each other's company. Black Friday we went to the fair. What a blast! Even Lil One enjoyed himself. I think he's going to be a people watcher like his Mama. He just stared wide-eyed and in awe at everything. Lil Man is way braver than I am. You should have seen the absurd rides he went on! I got scared just watching him tumble and swirl and dip and climb on the craziest of rides. I thought it better to keep my Thanksgiving meal inside the belly so I opted out of any rides.
When I think about this year and all that has happened I have to count my many blessings. God has been so good to our family. through the ups and downs he has always provided a great learning experience or an unexpected blessing. What an awesome God!
I have such amazing kids. They are my inspiration, joy and purpose. To think that I am qualified enough to be responsible for molding, shaping and nurturing their lives baffles me sometimes. If I were the good Lord I wouldn't have given the honor to the likes of me. I am humbled by the adventure He has bestowed me with, called motherhood.
My husband keeps me sane. He is my rock solid half. Unshaken, unwavering and grounded. Where I am spontaneous and sporadic, he is consistent and logical. Some how he's found ways to gently handle my quirky ways to make them seem beautiful. He makes me beautiful. His love makes me beautiful. God's love through him makes me beautiful.
I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up! But while I'm developing and maneuvering through the growing pains I thank God for the journey thus far.

Oh I love this post! It made me so happy to read how full of joy you are over your family, and our God! I hope the next year brings EVEN BETTER times!!
I Pray that the upcoming year would be even better than this year has. God bless you and your family
Yeah for strong loving families. I spent Thanksgiving in Florida with my dear mom. It was quiet but I loved it.
Yes indeed, you're blessed!
Wives should be encouraged by the testimony shared here of your relationship/marriage—I know I am. :D
