Deep Thoughts By a Seven Year Old
Lil Man: Ma, when will Lil One yawn?
Me: (wondering to myself if this is a joke or a genuine question) I guess when he's tired.
Lil Man: No, I've seen him really tired and he never yawns.
Me: Hmmmm now that you mention it, I can't remember him yawning when he's tired. But I'm sure he does.
After this conversation I had to research on the computer if babies do yawn because I seriously couldn't remember seeing Lil One yawning. Anyway, according to information I read on various baby sites, infants start yawning as early as 12 weeks in the belly. It's strange though that none of us can remember him yawning.
**************
Lil Man: What do you call a person who can't smell?
Me: Ummmm, I don't know what you mean.
Lil Man: Well if a person who can't see is blind and a person who can hear is deaf, what is a person who can't smell?
Me: OH I understand now what you are asking? Honestly, I don't know
Lil Man: Well whatever their called I wish that was me. When you change Lil One's diaper it smells so bad I wish I couldn't smell.
LOL the nerve of this kid!

Tell him wait until Lil' One gets a bit older, he'll really wish he couldn't smell!

There is a name for it!!
Till Lil man that my Uncle can't smell and we call him John. Smirk.
I'll have to ask him if he has heard of anosmia.
That's funny. Sometimes I wish I couldn't smell Nadia either. Out of the mouth of babes.
I have a very sensitive nose so I'm feelin' him on opting out to smell, on occasion though.
