Oh Mommy What Cool Cartoons On that Wall
We were traveling under the overpass on our major highway. Above, on the wall of the overpass was magnificently drawn artwork. Bright colourfully drawnings that probably would pull in large monetary sums if sold in auctions. The type of creativity that surely could be used to make video games or animation for major movie productions.
Do you know what I'm talking about? GRAFFITI. Yes, folks it was the rebellions craftmanship of gangs or idle teens. I have always wondered how they managed to draw these pictures in such precarious places. At what time of the day or night do they do this work? How come no one ever seems to spot them when they do it?
When Lil Man saw the pictures he was quite impressed and remarked "What cool cartoons Mom!"
He wanted to know how the pictures got there and who drew them. It was kind of hard to explained to him that they were done by kids who were troublemakers and that these pictures are actually breaking the law. The artwork was very impressive to say the least. Too bad the individuals responsible for this don't use this talent for something positive.

Yeah those kids need to be in art school & designing for companies.
Ditto! I don't see much of it around my area.. but every now and then something will pop up and it makes me wish that those kids had ANYONE in their lives to help them positively use their God given abilities. I even wonder if they realize how special of a gift they have with being artistic!
I always wondered how the “artist” climbed to reach such heights too.
