Welcome To My Garden Tea Party!!

There's a tea party goin' on right here! Welcome, welcome, welcome to Quiskaeya, the place where I recount the events in my family. Kick off your shoes and relax your feet! Stay for awhile and switch your clock to island time. You are entering my garden. It is here where I "leave things on the table when I'm done". I don't need to worry about cleaning up afterward. Why you ask? Because in a metaphorical sense when I've entered my garden I've slipped into my most comfy clothes; taken tranquil refuge in my quiet sanctuary and let all my inner ramblings come out while I sip on a cup of sweet chamomile tea.

The tales told in Quiskaeya are as varied and eclectic as the flowers in a meadow. But that would be expected since the story of our life started in the most unusual of ways - a wrong number. Pretty hard to believe isn't it, but that's the truth. If it wasn't for me dialing a wrong number I wouldn't have ever met the hubster.

We are a pretty crazy bunch, the four of us and have ghosts hanging out at our home. Seriously, we do! We find their poop in the corners of our home in the morning. No need to be concerned for us because we have an exterminator to handle their mess. Oh yeah and the hubster (hubby) is allergic to the Whole Food Market. So being the loving wife that I am I've made our family switch to an organic, green lifestyle so he has to go there all the time. Lil Man, our six year old son thought I was a cow when he was 2 years old. As for Lil One, our 4 month old, he's a genius and talks already!

Phew! Pretty crazy stuff! I warned you didn't I?!?! LOL Since you've been a gem to stop by and read all about the many goings-on in our home you deserve a chance at a reward. There are two ways to win. You choose which method. Here's how it works:

1) If you can answer all these questions you are eligible for the prize:
*What does ghost poop stand for?
*My husband is allergic to the Whole Food Market because what didn't he
find there?
*Why did my son refer to me as a cow?
*Does my baby really know how to talk?

OR

2) Visit my online shoppe, Sha~Dou and tell me what slogan you like the best.

Contest runs through Sunday, May 18 6pm EST. Winner will be announced on Tuesday, May 20.

What is the prize you ask? Good question! I am giving away our popular "I Speak Green. What's Your Language?" t-shirt. ($18.99 value) See the top left and corner of the blog for an example of what it looks like. I will have random.org choose the winner. This contest is open to US & Canadian contestants. Play away ladies and happy blogging party!

I love your slogan- I Eat Organic Bring Your Own Cholestrol
followed closely by Yo Dude, GREEN up! It would be great to win the T- I'd give it to my oldest daughter , her and her best friend have pledged to spend the summer going green in English class.

Hi! I'm dropping in from Mommy Fest. It has been great getting to know you through your blog. I absolutely love how you and hubby met (Kev and I have a fun story, I should share it on my blog one day soon LOL).

The slogan I like most on Sha~Dou is the simple, I Love Green, Do You? Very cute that your 6 year old came up with that one.

I also saw your two Caribbean recipes and they sound great.

Island time is the best time.

Have a great day!

It's so great to meet you in the Mommyfest Blog Party!

1) If you can answer all these questions you are eligible for the prize:
*What does ghost poop stand for? - dust bunnies
*My husband is allergic to the Whole Food Market because what didn't he find there? - cholesterol
*Why did my son refer to me as a cow? - because you had just finished breast feeding him. (LOVE that, btw. My family lovingly refers to me as "Bessie" since I'm breastfeeding my youngest.)
*Does my baby really know how to talk? - he can babble and coo, which in my book counts. :D

2) I LOVE the saying "Breast Milk is better than Silicon". Had me chuckling for quite a while!

I hope to see you at my blog also. (I was a little late putting my site in the links, but you can go to The "Official" Heather Quarnstrom Blog.) Don't forget to enter the contests while you're there. :D

I hope you had a great Mother's Day!
