Thrifty Thursday: Save, Save, Save

Do you want to learn how to turn $451 a month into a million bucks? Read the article to find out.

Here's are some tips that can help your grocery bill if applied when shopping. Never go grocery shopping when you and your family are hungry. Write down what you need before hand to avoid aisle cruising.

Bagging lunches and snacks for work are always a money saver. However, I know some people who just aren't into preparing their own meals/snacks. Not to worry, if you are one of these folks. Although, bagging it may save you more, Restaurant.com or GiftCertificates.com can help. You can receive significant savings on gift cards for just about every restaurant imaginable. Ex: pay only $10 for a $25 giftcard. GiftCertificates.com offers gift cards for major department stores as well.

I'm not much of a coupon clipper. I just don't have the patience for it. However, after visiting Coupons.com and CouponCabin.com I might change my mind. DealHunting.com is a great place to go to find all the deals/specials/discounts going on everywhere. These sites provide a wide variety of coupons from foods to toiletries to photo prints to clothes and everything in between. It's coupons galore!

In these leaner days it's no secret that we all would like to save our money. But, how about getting some of your money back. Yeah, like get a cash back on your purchases. Say for example you spend $100 and get a 5% return to be used as you feel fit. Well folks there is a way to do that.

Both BigCrumbs & Ebates have extensive lists of stores we all shop and patronize on a regular basis that offer cash back on your purchases. Here are a few examples of stores on their lists: Gap, Target, Kmart, Walmart, Best Buy, Babies R Us, Enterprise Rent A Car, The Body Shop, JCPenney's, Macy, and so many more. Just click on the link to see for yourself what stores are giving you cash back.

At the rate of devaluation I wonder what one million bucks will be able to buy in 35 years.

Good stuff! I was very interested in the discounted gift cards for restaurants. The only problem is that they have minimums from $35-$50. That's not doable for my lunch budget. Darn!
