Tonsil Surgery Is Off for Now
We will have to wait for the remainder of this week before Lil Man can have his surgery rescheduled. Last Wednesday he came home complaining that he wasn't feeling well. By the time we put him down to bed it was apparent he was coming down with the flu. I called his specialist on Thursday and the Doc said there is no way they would operate on a sick child. Of course, I suspected that and would have refused to let them had they made a hint of going through with it. Friday, Lil Man woke up to the runs and vomiting EVERYWHERE.
It must have been something that was going around because on Wednesday night after laying the kids down to sleep I had the samething. Not fun! Let me just say, I know I wasn't meant to work with sick, puking kids with diarhea. Trying to console Lil Man and clean up his mess did me in and I got sick all over again. Thanks God for Papa to the rescue! He had to leave work to come take care of both of us and care for Lil One, who thankfully didn't catch anything. I am just so grateful to God that we had to wait on removing Lil Man's tonsils.
So the date for his tonsils to be removed is TBD. Thank you to all of you for the thoughts and words of encouragement. I will keep you posted.
