Tips, Tricks and Tools From an Amateur Blogger
In a way I feel silly posting this. I am the least technical savvy person out there. I really don't know much about the tricks of blogging. The only thing I can say in my defense is that I'm not afraid to research. So far Dr. Google has served me well. If only he would teach me graphic design, then I'd be in business!
Anyway, for those who wanted to know and asked here are some of the tools that I use:
I useSiteMeter as my analytical tool for my site. It's one of the easiest site readers to understand (IMO). It's always good to know where your traffic is coming from, who they are and what pages are most popular. Hey...your visitors are spying on you, so why not spy on them. *wink-wink*
I was introduced toBloglines by Tanyetta and just love this plug in to my favorite blogs, newgroups and more. Awesome tool!
If you are looking for a complete array of royalty free photographs, clip art, images, etc, you definately need to check outIstockphoto . Some people complaint about the cost being higher than other sites, but their selection is by far the best in IMO. For a less expensive version you may want to try Openphoto .
If you want to know what blogrolls you are on or who is linking to your siteWho Links To Me can help you out with that.
Splitdecionz ROCKS! The owner of this blog give tutorials on tricks for sprucing up your blog and your posts. Tips for Bloggers also provides excellent tips/tricks for your blog.
Anyway, those are some of the resources I use. If I think of anymore that I think would be of interest, I'll definately to post them. Feel free to mention ones you use in the comments, if you'd like.

Hi Ana!
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment on the generous wife tip. I think it's cool that your church puts it in the bulletin. I think you just gave me an idea for our Ladies Ministry newsletter that I publish. Thanks. I love Split Decisionz and Tips for New Bloggers. I go there alot. Great meeting you. I'll be back.
