Sheppard Software (Site for Kids)
Sheppard Software is a really neat site for kids. This site has a ton of cool games and learning tools. You find everything from math & reading to art & science and everything in between. Kids as young as 3-4 yrs old all the way through high school will be able to benefit from this site.
One of my son's favorite games is USA states matching games below.

One of my son's favorite games is USA states matching games below.

In this game a state is given (see UTAH pictured on the lower left in the shaded gray box). With the mouse you drag the state to it's proper location on the map until all the states are properly placed. He's played it so many times he's memorized the location of all states.
Another favorite is this game below.
In this game a state is highlighted (see yellow state on map). Next to the state is a box and you are required to type in the first 3 letters of the states. It's a pretty cool game.

That's fun for adults too. I'm going to save that link. I played the state capitals game. I got a 92%, I use to be great in that.
