Wherein, I Discovered I Gave Birth to a Monster
I was in the living room, nursing the baby while watching my favourite channel (you guessed it FOOD NETWORK) when Lil Man ran over to me. He was soooooo excited he was hyperventilating. It was as if he was gaving hysterics.
"Mom, Mom you gotta come see what I just did!"
He started tugging at my pants trying to get me to get up quicker. I told him to hold on that I was feeding the baby so to be patient. He just refused to give in saying, "But Mom this is big! You won't believe what I did in the bathroom!"
UH-OH! Then panick struck me like a blow to the head. My son. The bathroom. He's crazy excited. No, this certainly couldn't be a good thing. The last time I came upon one of Lil Man's adventures in the bathroom I entered into flood waters all over the floor. And he was sitting all proudly in his tub, just cheezin' and wavin' looking like Noah on his Arc. That mess was NOT fun to clean.
Reluctantly, I got up and went with him to the bathroom. He started wildly pointing to the towelet. "Look Mom, Looooook! I'm a monster! See, look it's green, my pee is greeeeen!"
Sure enough I looked into the bowl to find a green liquid in the bowl. At this point I had to start laughing. Partly, from relief that it wasn't something worse and also because my son thought he had pee'd green.
What happened is that we have a towelet bowl cleaner that makes the water blue. When he urinated it caused the water to turn green.

haha! He is a trip! I love it~
I'm laughing cause green pee in his mind made him a 'monster'? hahah TOO FUNNY!
I think you should compile a book of antecdotes of your son's adventures and give them to him as a gift when he has a child of his own as testament to the joys (and humor) of childhood. Priceless!

Oh my, if that isn't hilarious I don't know WHAT is! How funny. He's at such a fun age!
