Be In the Know Dark About Earth Hour 2008
March 29, 2008 from 8p - 9p (local time) people all over the world will turn off there lights in what is known as Earth Hour. This phenomenon started in Sydney, Australia in 2007 where 2.2 million Australian citzens and businesses committed to be in darkness for one hour. Their goal was to raise awareness regarding global warming and to reduce greenhouse gases. This year Earth Hour has reached global attention and millions more will join a worldwide movement to send a powerful message that change needs to happen now about global warming.I'm a person that believes in thinking optimistically.
